Aldo, Tim, captain and crew were brilliant. We had the best day snorkelling with the manta rays, turtles and tropical fish. Absolute care and safety for the day under trying conditions at times. Absolutely unforgettable experience with Bluuu on my trip to Nusa Penida. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, professional, and genuinely caring.
I want to give a special thank you to our amazing guides Gio and Deryck, who truly made today’s trip exceptional. What stood out the most was how much attention they paid to our safety and comfort, especially when moving around and getting on and off the boat. They never rushed us and always made sure everyone felt secure, especially me being a young female who joined the trip solo.
For those of us (myself included) who are not skilled swimmers, they were incredibly patient and supportive during snorkeling. Instead of limiting the experience, they actually made sure we still got the full adventure. They stayed close, guided us in the water, reassured us, regularly checked in with us, and helped us relax so we could really enjoy the ocean. Thanks to them, I was able to see so much including turtles, which was honestly magical.
Gio was especially keen and attentive. You could tell he genuinely cared about everyone’s experience. On top of that, he took so much time to capture beautiful photos and videos, making sure we had memories to keep forever. He really went the extra mile to “kapeseek” every special moment for us.
Both Gio and Deryck were professional, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. They created such a positive atmosphere and made the whole day feel safe, exciting, and relaxed at the same time.
If you’re thinking about visiting Nusa Penida, I highly recommend choosing Bluuu. Whether you’re an experienced snorkeler or a beginner, they make sure you feel confident, included, and truly enjoy every part of the journey. Sandy and his team were the best tour guide. We got to see multiple sea turtles, swim in coral reefs, and we even saw dolphins which he said was rare. The water was too choppy for us to go where the manta rays were, but we were happy they had our safety in mind. I also loved that they were taking pictures and videos with the go-pro so we could just focus on being in the moment. This tour was totally unforgettable and one of the best parts of our trip to Bali.

The water was too choppy for us to go where the manta rays were, but we were happy they had our safety in mind. I also loved that they were taking pictures and videos with the go-pro so we could just focus on being in the moment. This tour was totally unforgettable and one of the best parts of our trip to Bali.

We had an incredible day with Bluuu Tours on a private boat trip to Nusa Penida, and it genuinely exceeded all expectations. From the start, everything was seamless from an easy hotel pick-up and drop-off, clear communication, and super quick responses via WhatsApp, which made organising the day completely stress-free.
We travelled as a family of six with our kids, and the tour felt perfectly paced and tailored for us. The snorkeling was unreal we saw manta rays, turtles, huge schools of fish, and even had the unexpected bonus of seeing dolphins.
A special mention has to go to our guide Gio—he was outstanding. Friendly, calm, knowledgeable, and fantastic with the kids, he made us feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely looked after the whole day. He made the day so easy. The photos and videos he took meant while we were snorkling we could just enjoy and not have to worry about capturing the moments.
The tour was honestly better than we had planned or imagined, and we couldn’t recommend Bluu Tours highly enough—especially for families wanting a private, well-run, unforgettable day trip from bali.
The boat was well appointed, the gear provided was clean and functional. They provided everything we needed for snorkling, towels, water and watermelon for the day - which I think our 9 year old ate all day long! Stopping off at Penida Island for lunch was easy and pleasant also.

Roby, Oneil and the rest of the crew looked after us very well. We had a 10 year old with us that struggled a bit the swell and the conditions. They both payed special attention to him to ensure we all had a fantastic time. Truly a value packed day. Thanks boys.
